I never thought I would ever be lucky enough to meet someone like Tani. Every time I look at him, I am reminded of how incredible he is and how endlessly grateful and fortunate I am.
I was having a hard time finding shidduchim. Especially ones that fit the description I really wanted. Someone to make me laugh (constantly), could deal with my endless sarcasm, but would also be full of yiddishkeit, constantly willing to grow and learn. When I made my frumster profile, which I actually shared with a friend, I never thought anything would come from it. I was in touch with shadchans who were setting me up, but nothing was really happening. Then, six months after making a profile, I went on to check out who was on and I saw a picture of a guy I thought, to be blunt, looked cute. I liked his profile and messaged him something like, "I don't really randomly meet people online and I'm a little nervous about doing this. Um. Please don't kill me. Thanks. -Danyel." He replied that he wasn't a weirdo or a murderer (that's what they all say) and after a few AIM conversations and one phone call, we met.
15 weeks later we were engaged.
We were married a few months later, this past September, and so far it is the happiest we have both been. We thank HShem for using Frumster as a tool for us to meet, and hope that every couple can feel the joy and love we feel every day.
