Rina and Ilan

Isn't it amazing how Hashem's hand guides each one of our journeys? 
In July of 2003 I went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to spend a week with my father hiking, horseback riding and relaxing.  Near the end of the trip I decided that upon returning the search for my Besheret would begin in earnest.  Upon returning home, I had a strong sense that "She" could be around the corner. 

I signed on to Frumster and I noticed Rina's profile right away. Her story was amazing, our goals in life were similar, she had depth, caring and emotion.....all conveyed through her profile.  Little did I know that.....over the previous week, Rina and her roommate had printed out a small handful of 'potential' profiles from Frumster and brought them home.  Even though Rina had expressed interest in my profile, they had agreed that anyone 5'11'' or taller would go to her roommate (being the taller of the two) and anyone shorter would go to Rina.  Oh well she thought, he may just not be the one!

A few days later I decided to send her an email (of course without knowing about their arrangement, or that they had printed out my profile).  Rina was excited and after gaining clearance from her roommate to respond to my first email, we began emailing each other through Frumster.  I could tell from the beginning that Rina was quite the story teller and someone I wanted to get to know.  Little would I have thought that two weeks later she would be coming to visit me in DC. 

After 2 weeks of long emails, pages of questions, late night conversations, stories, laughter and checking out each other through my Rabbi and her Rebitzon, Rina was on a flight to visit me in DC.  We decided to meet at the National Gallery of Art and proceeded to spend the next 5 days talking, laughing, visiting sites in DC and realizing that we had something special.  A few weeks later, after I visited Boston and we met in Los Angeles we were engaged.  10 weeks after becoming engaged we were married in November of 2003.  We said over and over, "We are so blessed!"

You never know what Hashem has in store for you.  Without the incredible service of Frumster, who knows how we would have found each other.  Thank you for your invaluable service.  We, and IY'H' our children, Thank You.
