Leah and Zvi

I told my Father that I was ready for him to start looking for a shidduch for me. It is very hard in the Orthodox world to find possibilities, unless you live in New York.

My father called a few people and told them to start the search!  Meanwhile, I decided to make an effort on my part and posted my profile on all the frum dating websites, Frumster being one of them.  I did not find much success anywhere until the next morning after finishing my profile on Frumster. 

I finished like at about 2:00AM in California!  Six hours later, the phone rang and it was Rabbi Yossi Kahne from Agoura , CA .  He woke me up to tell me that someone by the name of Zvi saw my profile on Frumster - and was very interested!

(Rabbi Kahne and Zvi used to learn together in New York .  Zvi saw that my profile stated I was from Long Beach , CA .  He put two and two together since Rabbi Kahne lived in Long Beach for a year.  He and I knew of each other but not personally.)

Then the investigation began…

A few weeks later, Zvi flew out to California so we could meet for the first time.  Everything went so well, and we flew out to meet each other a few more times and on April 30, 2004 Zvi popped the question!

All I can say is that even though Zvi and I did most of the communicating ourselves, if it would not have been for Frumster, we would probably still be searching for each other.  Thanks for helping us find one another!

I have relayed our wonderful story to so many people.  Some people turn their noses when you say "Jewish dating Website."  There is nothing to be frowned upon.  You all have done so much to bring hundreds of people together.  You all definitely have crowns waiting for you in Gan Eden.  Plus, Hashem only gives us things to use for our benefit and for holy things.  That is what you all are all doing at Frumster with the Internet.
