• Am I eligible for Frumster?

  Frumster is designed primarily for orthodox Jewish singles who are shomer shabbat/kashrut but anyone who is Jewish and single can join. Profile targeting technology ensures an ideal enviornment for both orthodox and non-orthodox Jewish singles. 
  
  * Separated individuals cannot join - you must be legally single.
  * Conversions must be complete - you must be universallly-accepted as Jewish.
  * Shadchans or 3rd parties cannot join - you must be representing yourself.

• How does Frumster work?

  Prospective members register, choose a display name, are screened for eligibility, and find prospective matches using powerful search features. An on-site mailbox is then used to communicate with prospective matches anonymously. Other features such as Forums, IM, Icebreakers, and Favorites are also available.
  

• What is JWed?

  JWed.com, the sister-site of Frumster.com, is designed for any Jewish single (without regard to religious affiliation) who is genuinely interested in marriage. If you already have an account on Frumster, you don't need to join JWed. Your Frumster login works on both sites.
  
  Smart JWed Integration is used on Frumster to seamlessly include relevant JWed listings in your experience.  Profile targeting technology ensures that frum members who are torah-observant will always enjoy an authentic orthodox experience. Smart integration with profile targeting technology is also used on JWed.com so your experience on JWed will be identical to your experience on Frumster except for a more modern user-interface on JWed.com

• How are the different hashkafas defined?

  The hashkafah labels used on Frumster may mean different things to different people. Use this guideline as a starting point to enhance your experience.

• Is my information safe and secure?

  Yes. Frumster.com is hosted with Rackspace, Inc. on servers located in state-of-the-art secured facilities in Dallas, Texas. Critical data is regularly backed up with Iron Mountain, Inc. Credit card data is secured with 256-bit EVSSL encryption from GoDaddy.com, Inc.
  

• How much does the service cost?

  There is no charge to join Frumster, conduct searches, and be listed in searches. Communicating with members requires a Premium membership which costs as little as $14.95/month.

• Is Frumster available on my mobile phone?

  A mobile-optimized version of the website is available on iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Palm, and Windows Mobile phones (as of February 22, 2011). Only inbox/messaging features are available at this time. Additional features will be added soon. Just go to Frumster on your mobile browser to automatically access the mobile version.
  

• How can I get a refund?

  If you see a charge on your credit card, but haven't used the service recently, you probably forgot to cancel auto-renew. Auto-renew charges and subscription purchases are non-refundable. No exceptions. Please be sure to cancel auto-renew or suspend your profile to avoid future charges.
  
  Refunds are only issued in cases of identity theft or accidental duplicate billings.

• Why are some profiles missing?

  We recently introduced an age filter, which excludes from your experience profiles of members 20 years older or younger than you. You can disable this filter at any time if you want to continue seeing these types of profiles.
